It is just one garage door with space inside for one car and a golf cart. And those I have seen, granted only a few, it would need to be a small to mid size car to also fit a golf cart. I am sure some one has an Armada and a Tomberlin and will tell you they both fit fine, but those I saw looked tight. I did see one new one that looked a little larger so you will need to check them out. But all only have the single door.

We rented a Cabana last year, our Buick LeSabre and golf cart fit, but was tight. We closed last month on CYV. We have since bought a Hyundai Sonata and feel our garage will accomodate both car and cart. But I'm gonna make him do the parking. Not blaming me for dinging up the new car or cart.

I think a lot of people park and leave their car in their driveway. Most cyvs have the 1.5 car garage and it is tight with a cart and car unless you have a small car.

Default now we are in trouble

Wow, so what do you do if you have 2 carts and 2 cars. Also does 2 carts and 1 minivan fit in most of the garges...say an Anna Maria?

Most people on our street have sold their 2nd cars. Found they were not necessary and why carry the insurance.

Two cars and two carts: No dice in an Anna Maria. Unless you choose a home model with a 2 car + a golf cart garage (or something bigger or stretched), I don't think this combination will all fit in the garage......unless the cars are very small (think along the lines of a Mini Cooper or a Smart Car, perhaps?).

Two carts and a minivan: This should work in an Anna Maria model's garage.....if the actual build dimensions for the garage are true to the floor plan and you park the carts one behind the other. http://www.thevillages.com/homes/new...namaria-FP.pdf

We keep our Honda Fit (small car) and 2 golf carts (parked tandem style - one is a 4 seater) in our garage. We have a Bonita/Foxglove. I don't think 2 carts will fit in a Cumberland/Grantham. Not sure about the other models.

We have a Honda Accord in Ohio but in the past I have been able to park it in the garage with one golf cart - haven't had it in down there since we got the 2nd golf cart, but think it would fit if the 4 seater was in front of the 2 seater. It is tighter. With the Fit, doesn't matter which cart is in front, although it's probably easier with the 4 seater in front.

Many of our neighbors have large SUVs and park them in the driveway, but I think that is because it is just a tight fit, with the curved driveway.

CYV's have many great features but garage space isn't one of them. If this is a big concern you might want to look into Cottage style homes that have many of the features but can accomadate a larger garage. But then again Cottage homes have no fence etc. Choices, Choices.

When I rented a patio villa in Chatham this past week I kept the rental car (Ford Fusion) in the driveway and kept the owner's golf cart in the garage when I wasn't using the cart. Both the rental car and the golf cart probably would have fit in the garage, but I didn't want to take a chance on damaging the cart or the garage by dinging something. When it comes time for me to actually purchase in TV, I will have to get out the measuring tape as I do like to keep my car in the garage.

In spending 8 days in TV this month, I saw probably 9 or 10 smart cars on Morse, Buena Vista, El Camino Real, 466 and 466A -- probably one smart car per day. I could go for months in the Chicago area without seeing a smart car.

There are a growing number of smart cars here in MD. To me they look like a hard sided golf cart! A two passenger golf cart at that! Not sure I would want to drive one on roads with 18 wheelers but I see them, smart cars that is, on highways even.
