I am confident that no president reads the prospectus or studies the balance sheet of any company seeking stimulus funds or government subsidized loans. It is ludicrous to imagine a president, with all the things on his or her plate, micromanaging such minutiae. There are legitimate reasons to criticize obama, this is not one of them.

OMG.....to purposely ignore the fact that Romney is more qualified to choose the people under him who ARE assigned to evaluate and oversee such grants, loans, etc. (such as Joe Biden clearly shown in the article as sent as emissary to the company) is too much willful blindness.

The most basic of such subordinates' selection and appointments would be making sure one's treasury secretary had paid his own TAXES, and not choosing one who would allow this to continue for 3 years:

OMG you are dellusional. Biden wasn't sent as an "emissary", he was sent for a publicity visit and a photo op. I am a romney fan, but I am realistic enough to know that he won't be wallowing in the details of what this country invests in, should he successfully achieve the presidency. Really? If you're correct and the President authorized bequeathing $120 million dollars to a company of which he had absolutely no idea of their ability to succeed in their endeavors, I'd say the President is even more unfit for office that I previously thought.
