The thieves may be attracted to Tide's value as a motivation for the theft, but even more attractive is the fact that they can make a clean get away!

Let's try to write a song/poem about this???
Any takers? First the tide rushes in Plants a kiss on the chore Then folds out to the tee And the tee is very stiff once more So I rush to give you a ride To get or steal more tide It is here by your side With one burning thought How do you get more tide Will your arms open wide While I am still by your side At last we're at the place Where we can wash off the kiss from our last embrace I can tell, I can feel You fit like a glove And can get out meals Really work well after the rain In the dark, in the sun Like the tide in the tub You do not even have to rub I'm at peace in the web of your suds Modifying the 1953 song "Ebb Tide" by the lyricist Carl Sigman and composer Robert Maxwell. |

Still a bizarre story! Hope it doesn't raise the price on Tide, it's the only brand I use! Go figure!

There was a young man named Ray,
who stole tons of Tide one fine day. His loot all got bought, and he never got caught. And he lives quite a clean life today!

The orange box Oh so pretty,
The contents so so gritty, Bad stains they cause so much grief, But not in the eyes of the thief. For the suds he doesn't much care, not with narcotics out there. I'll trade my detergent for crack,.... reefer, pills or smack. I've let go... all my pride,...so I can steal all of your Tide. THERE, That was really, really bad... ![]()

Ah, I think we got all the makings of a Broadway production called "Tide, The Musical!" Anyone got a suggestion for which Broadway Theatre it should open in?
