Default Fernandina Here We Come!!

Closing date is 6/26/2012 which is good since we have leased our Orlando house for 1 to 2 years and they want in on July 1st. Now thats timing.

Met our neighbors for dinner and lunch later in the week and everyone is excited about our street coming together. The women came up with the idea of calling themselves the "Braddock Blondes".

Spent the last 6 days in TV of which we did the Design Center in 3 days. Record time of 10 minutes picking out the granite and 3 hours for the pool with 1 change order at a cost of $250.00 per change order.

You pick what you want then stay, add or delete from there. We looked at front doors and picked 1 from the 6 we saw. The next day we got our total price and said why so much higher than expected? The door we picked was $6,000.

Now I have never seen a $6,000 door before but now I have. DELETE IT!

Long story short we came in at our budget so feel really good and are looking forward to our move.

Default Congrats

Congratulations on becoming a TV'er...It must be so much fun picking everything out for your new home.

I just keep wishing I could get there sooner, rather than later...

I hope I am happy in Sanibel. We love our lot....the backyard faces a retention pond.....so no houses directly behind us....but it's so FAR from any of the squares! And shopping!... Connie

Congrats Keithwand! Ill bet you are excited beyond belief. Our closing date is May 9th in Sanibel. We are sorting and packing at this time trying to bring as little as possible down with us. Can't wait until it all comes together. A $6,000 door?? I hope ours didn't cost that much. We just picked a door and said that's the one we want. We didn't even ask the cost. Oh I hope we didn't pay 6,000 for our door...

Connie, you will love the Sanibel/ Fernandina area. The shopping will come and it will be a fun golf cart ride to Brownwood and LS. Bonifay GC has great food.
Buena Vista is now open between 44A and 466A and Brownwood looks great.
Entrys, tunnels, paths lighting and landscaping are gorgeous.
The theater has been painted barn red and the town should open in the fall.
466A has golf courses on both sides as does Buena Vista and you get a real open feeling.
So many changes from just a few weeks back til now.

Great!, ...that's all good news. You'll be a long way from the Douglas Lake Bar but you'll find we have some decent restaurants here.

Default Closing on the 27th of April!

All things going smoothly. Pictures of the new house look great. Pretty soon we'll be down in TV! We will be on the corner of Ardsley Place and Bonifay. Can't wait!

Hi Fernandina neighbor.
We are the 2nd house N of Ardsley on the West side of Braddock Ct.
The contract was signed last Monday 3/19 so something should be happening there soon.
Are you on the SE corner West of Braddock?
We visited once when the area was still dirt then came back and the walls were up then visited again and the landscape was going in.

Hi Albert,
I think we may be neighbors. We’re on Ardsley Place, the second lot from Bonifay Path.

Our first meeting with the designers is scheduled for Friday May 25. We hope to get everything picked out in three days.

We are on the south side on Ardsley Place (the corner house) and Bonifay Path. We close on the 27th of April. The pictures are amazing. In the last batch, the landscaping was done, the sod was in, the lights were up inside and outside of the house. The transformation is amazing!

Congrats pappy on your closing. Yes the 'hood is shaping up nicely as is the surrounding area off Buena Vista.
Bradenton Rec. Center will be a nice addition as will all the golf carts zipping around the streets.
