Default Comcast Promotion

I signed up with Comcast last July. At that time they ran a promotion offering a $150 gift card when you bought a package service deal.

I have repeatedly called them since December asking where my card is. All I get is a customer service rep to tell me she will pass this information along to the marketing department and they will call me. They have never returned my calls for the past 5 months. The CSR will not transfer me to the department either.

As I am an out of town owner, I cannot go to their office to demand satisfaction. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to get it resolved? I do not want to drop Comcast because I prefer cable over Dish Network.

In 2010, Comcast gave us a $200 gift card for subscribing to their Tripple Play package. The gift card showed up in the mail about two to three months later.

Yes, I am having the same problem, I signed up in Sept. and was told I would also get a gift card- mine was $ 100.00 Visa card. I had to have the service for 3 months, Still no card. I also call and even wrote a letter. No card yet ! The last time I called I even said I would like to cancel services, I would like to go with century link, they told me if I cancelled early I would have to pay a early termination fee....They said they would look into this. Good Luck.

Fingers crossed ... There's lots of people hoping for Bright House service in their neighborhood. Comcast Customer Service is a joke!

Presuming you have some documentation of some sort on what Comcast owes you (like a copy of the promotion advertisement and your statement showing you signed up), you can contact Seniors Vs Crime - either office in The Villages - and they can help you out. As a snowbird, you can do it by email, mail or fax. Their email is MarionSVC@yahoo.com or SumterSVC@yahoo.com, depending on which office you want to use.

We have had similar experience with the promotion. But , Comcast isn't the one to contact. I don't have a phone number any longer, but if you Google it, offerwire.com. Then you can go into the rebate center, to either email or call them. It does take awhile but it will get to you if all has been documented correctly.

Default Comcast rebate

Next time you call Comcast ask for a Retention Specialist, thats the only people I talk to for negotiate my prices, I think they might be able to help you out with your problem. The people that answers the phone are just lackeys and they have no control over prices, the Retention Department can help you out. Good luck..................
