Remember to get over to the Savannah Center today for the recreation department's Music Lover's Showcase. Great music all day long from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm.
And in a bit of shameless self promotion, I'd like to point that I will be appearing twice. Once at 12:30 with Vinyl Recall and again at 4:30 with the Beatlemaniacs of the Villages. Friday the 13th....phooey

We were married in the 13th (Saturday) 45 years ago. We don't believe in "lucky" numbers, but 13 has always been special to us and is "our" number.

13 is in my life in several ways. The house number for the house built by my parents in 1964 that my dad still lives in is 1113. When I attended Loyola University in Chicago, I lived on the 13th floor of my dormitory for 2 years. My youngest sister and her husband got married on June 13, 1998.
Friday the 13th is a good day for me because TGIF (that is for those of us who still work full time). As an added bonus, Friday afternoons are usually blessedly quiet at my office because about 80% of the employees at my company (but not me) only work half days on Friday. |
