Does anyone know of a consignment business or individual that will sell your items on E Bay for you. I knew a business was once operating in the area selling for the public on E Bay for a small percentage, but have no idea if they are still in business.
If you have information, please send me an E Mail at bjwdk1@embarqmail.com |

I've got a bunch of records, comic books and Christmas village houses I've always wanted to sell on Ebay, but never felt like taking the pictures and everything else that has to be done. Anybody out there who knows how to do it want to go partners on selling this stuff?

I would be afraid myself to use craigslist. I wouldn't give them your address especially if you will be alone when they come. People will respond come to your house and rob you. We have had two murders here in the greater Seattle area of people who listed something on craigslist. Now what they listed was valuable so maybe if it's collectables it would be ok but it would make me scared. Hubby has 5000 comics to sell (multiple sets of x-men) We haven't gotten around to it. Let me know if you have luck with ebay or Amazon. I would join you to check it out but we are snowflakes renting.

You may want to get yourself an Ebay account and also an account with the U.S. postal service (usps.com) so you can find out how much postage will be before you set the auction. You can also print labels with postage right on line. You'll also need a paypal account. Order some supplies from usps.com, the flat rate boxes to sell your houses. They are free. Listing collectables on Ebay is very time consuming. It's not only the listing itself, but the research of trying to find out what the items are worth by searching the completed listings of what they sold for. Not what people are listing them for. You'll need boxes, bubble wrap and possibly a postal scale which you can buy on amazon.com for $20.00.
You'll need to take pictures. I use my I-phone and it works well. You'll need to keep organized for your auctions. It's not a piece of cake but a new learning experience and will pay off in the end. Good luck. |

I have sold hundreds of items on eBay and Amazon and have included them in my work from home books.
In addition, I have sold numerous items on Craigslist which is the subject of the book I am writing now. They are all great ways to make extra income if you do it right. |
