From one who sought prayers from this great online community early this year, I can attest to the graciousness and Godly spirit of this group. While the prayers could not bring our grandson out of his coma, the prayers and beutiful expressions of love and caring were wonderously helpful for myself and my family. When Quentin got to heaven I am sure that it was known how much he was loved and how many good people were pulling for him. I too pray for your grandson and your whole family while you go through these difficult times.

Default Prayers for you and your family

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This was the touchstone for our family as our nephew was treated for Ewing's Sarcoma many years ago. He was 13 then and now teaches college math. His treatment involved a whole community and I pray your family will be blessed with the kind of loving support that surrounded and sustained my brother's family during that time. There are many ways your hospital chaplain and social services can support your whole family during this time. This is a wonderful community, too. Please keep us posted on your needs.

I'm sorry to hear they found some nodes. Here's praying that the nodes can be successfully removed, that the treatment plan is not too brutal and, most importantly, that a full recovery is the final result. Many hugs, prayers and good thoughts to you and your family.

I know it isn't the same kind of cancer but they found cancer in eleven nodes of our daughter Helene and removed them and the tumor and quite a bit of tissue.

We were so worried and frightened. Last month we visited her oncologist in Cincinnati who hugged her and reminded us that it had been 19 years.

Thank you dear God and please bless and protect this little one.
