He had maybe 30 seconds of cumulative screen time in Platoon. Difficult to call that a "Johnny Depp movie". Heck he had a bigger role in Nightmare on Elm Street and I wouldn't call that a "Johnny Depp movie" either.

If I had to answer that question, I'd say Curse of the Black Pearl (Pirates) and probably What's Eating Gilbert Grape for a dramatic turn.

There are some actors whose 30 second appearance would be too much for me. Others that I would watch in a movie no matter how short their lines and scenes.
