Default Ides of March - Enjoyable

Saw the Ides of March last weekend. George Clooney just gets better looking with age. And he became eligible for AARP a few month ago on turning 50!
Enjoyable political story about the backstabbing and deal making that occurs during a presidential primary. Especially enjoyed the performances by Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti and Evan Rachel Wood.

Default We liked it also

For us it had a double good feeling. We liked the plot, GEORGE, and it was shot in Cincinnati and No. KY. I guess that is three things. LOL It was really funny to see so many places we have been. They say George stayed in The 'Nati for a month. And I was down here! George grew up in Northern KY and his folks still live there. His Dad is nice looking, but not as easy on the eyes as George is. Gracie you have to see this one.

Great cast, good plot...but so disappointed with ending...seemed unfinished.

My youngest sister has lived in the Cincinnati area for 20 yrs. and I have visited her there quite a few times. I recognized a few of the outdoor scenes also in the movie. I will have to ask my sister if she bumped into George! LOL.

George Clooney's break out roll in the movies was opposite Quentin Tarantino in From Dusk Til Dawn. Still might be his best work.

thought it was a good political thriller, would definitely recommend it, the ending kind of let's you hanging on what he did imho, without getting into the details now and spoiling :P

Good movie. Got it from the Lake County Library System for free. Only borrowed it for 3 days because the Library Administration has limited DVDs in high demand to only 3 day check-out periods with no renewals.

Good to see George Clooney doing a number of tasks in this movie.

Agree, not much of an ending.
