Same with the noise of continuous cell phones.
Would it hurt to turn the damned things off for the film's duration?
Not to mention the coughing and sneezing and spreading of germs.

Hollywood and actors don’t worry about being historically correct. They’re in the entertainment business. Politicians and actors do have things in common, they don’t necessarily tell the truth and they do fill their pockets with money.

Bingo.

Remember "Gladiator"? It took home Academy Awards for best picture, best actor in a leading role (Russell Crowe), best costume design, best sound, and best visual effects as well as garnering nominations in a boatload of other categories. About the only thing the movie got right was that there was a Roman emperor named Marcus Aurelius at about that time and he had a ne'er-do-well kid named Commodus. Just about everything else in the story were complete fabrications. But who cared? It was a GREAT movie. If I want a history lesson there is always Google.

That's why the "reviews" of the pompous personalities on Rotten Tomatoes are so hilarious. They're all of a sudden incredible sticklers for historical accuracy.

Says a lot about their mindset. And not in a complimentary way.

I absolutely love that little theater in Sumter, and I'll be sick when it closes. I don't care what they charge or how much the popcorn costs, if they have a movie as good as Reagan to show me. The sad part is that Hollyweird only manages a couple of pictures a year that are worth seeing.
