Hey! I actually just moved down here from Boston and moved in with my family. I'm 24 years old. I have also been struggling with meeting people my age. I do love hanging with older people, but it would be nice to have someone my age to spend some time with! I'm currently doing freelance web development and trying to get a business started so I've been spending a lot of my time focusing on that. So I would be very interested in meeting up with some people my age! Please let me know!!

I thought TV is for over 55 and anyone under can only stay 30 days. Except Bison village.

No, anyone over 18 can be a permanent resident, but can't use the adult pools.

Hi,

My daughter, who is 27, due to a change of her life circumstances, is currently living here with us as well. She would love to meet other younger people living here in TV. We have heard there are many other in same situation, and we should try to help them organize a meet and greet place and time and event.

Her name is Danielle, and i am her dad Mike.

to help me organize this you can email me at bronxmlj@aol.com and i will pass it onto my daughter.

Thanks and hope to hear from other younger residents or their parents.

Mike

As you might expect, she's having problems meeting / making friends with similar young women. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how she can meet others?
We have two of our three children that moved down here with us. Both met and married locals. Both are doing quite well. The daughter met her husband through work and the boy met his wife through school. I think if she just "gets out there" she'll meet plenty of young people.

Whoa! Consider taking up golf! Even if she hates it!
I told a female friend years ago and she only made it to the driving range before getting a date!

Yeah...a Facebook page sounds like a very good idea.

(Or maybe even a simple dedicated website of their own? I could set up something like that pretty quickly if anybody is interested.)

It is really hard to meet young people here, at least the number s are against her. She really needs to drive and get a better job out of the bubble. Best would be to go to school. There are so few quality jobs here in the Villages. She should be looking long term, I hope.
