Some people like to play very early in the AM and others prefer to play into sunset. If the courses are short on staff and need to reduce hours, why not alternate between closing early one day and opening late the next?

Get a life I am sure you obey all the rules dictated to you what is the difference between 1:45 and 2:00 That is approx 2 minutes per hole maybe some players play slower at 80 then 60

Actually, all the executive course north of SR44 are owned by either the SLCDD or VCCDD so they are technically public property not private property.

We golf an executive course yesterday and were the last group out, 3:53. Was enjoyable to just take our time and not push the group ahead or worry about holding up someone. Spoke with ambassador a few times and he was overseeing sneak on golfers and keeping them off. Must admit we took longer to play then what we normally do. Stay Safe all!

I can understand liability problems with people walking and playing at the same time, but there shouldn’t be any stray golf balls at 6 am or after the final round of the day. It would be a lot safer than dodging speeding carts or walking on public roads in neighborhoods, and quieter and lovelier. It’s a bit like saying, “You can walk in the streets, so why should we let you walk in the park on the paths.”

Maybe, just maybe the golf courses are private property?

Wrong, 4 mins per hole extra using your 2 hour game format....
Then why are Tee-Times 9 minutes apart with its taking you a little over 13 minutes to finish one hole?
The Ambassadors should start making these Slow-Pokes skip a hole or two to keep the game flowing as it should be....

It is a liability issue, I can not understand why that is so hard to grasp. Lets say you opt to walk the course at 6 AM, and the power sprinklers come on and knock you over. Or chemicals have been applied that may affect you. People would sue and sue and sue. Stay off the courses if you are not playing, it is really that simple!

COURSE CLOSED

I guess when you manage the worlds largest single golfing community you can make the schedule for over 1200 retired employees. I know they would just love have their shifts changed on a daily bases.

They are NOT public property per say, that's like saying the rec centers are public property and can be used at any time.
