Copycat flashing, I hope you're not right.
I remember how popular streaking was way back when with the same age group. Brace yourself, it's going to be bumpy ride. |

Gracie, I could not agree with you more. This big, tall snowbird loves The Villages! Might be a frog someday. I can handle a few wackos. A lot of people think I'm a wacko!

Did anybody really move to a community of over 100,000 people in addition to all the surrounding areas and think there would be zero bad apples and nothing nasty would ever happen??!!??
Come on. |

All those posters that came before you that were bitching about the Daily Sun.....should take note. Maybe put a lid on it the next time.

Maybe if this were a college town and the copycats were pledges of some kind and this was the 1970s? I do see it does happen that there are copycat flashers and the report from Chester County suggests that one was a prank. |

SO tired of the constant complaints about the Daily Sun! Don't you get enough of the "news" on the radio, the TV, numerous other newspapers, people talking, yadda yadda. If you don't like the Daily Sun, don't get it and you won't have to complain EVERY time something happens in The Villages that isn't reported in the Daily Sun.

There are lots of nice mobile home parks around FL where TV haters can go and live cheaper and complain about TV from there. "The Villages of Fruitland Park will generate “target” revenues that total more than $1.1 billion in a one-year sales spree that seasoned developers say is likely unmatched anywhere in the world. And that would mean a huge inflow of cash for a revenue-strapped city that hasn’t given its police officers a raise in five years. How much cash? Michael Prestridge, Chief Deputy in Lake County Property Appraiser Carey Baker’s office, said a safe estimate of assessed value on new homes is somewhere in the range of 85 percent to 90 percent of the sale price. That’s around $850 million of new taxable value in Fruitland Park. Homestead Exemptions could reduce that amount to around $750 million. Last week commissioners set the city’s tax millage at the rollback rate of 4.7371 per $1,000 of assessed value, which means new property tax revenues from the Villages of Fruitland Park could total more than $3.5 million per year. This year property taxes will generate about $730,000 for Fruitland Park’s General Revenue Fund, which pays for ongoing services such as police and fire protection, street maintenance and the library. The city’s total assessed value is $158 million—that’s less than last year, according to City Manager Rick Conner. The city’s 2014 budget is just over $5.5 million." http://www.**************.com/villag...ruitland-park/ " |

Geez, and nobody got a picture of it !!
![]() Actually I love the Villages and I love my happy paper and happy people. When I was younger, I knew all kinds of unsavory people. The only thing different now is that they are older and some of them live here. I personally want to give a little benefit of the doubt to the story. Maybe the man has some dementia going on or just some mental problems and it wasn't done maliciously. Another day in the Villages. I think it's the spice of life ! ![]() Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I read somewhere, I want to say the online paper, that this guy has a history of this sort of thing and was convicted of it in 1990. Apparently he's just your garden variety pervert, out of 100,000+ people I guess there have to be some.

One thing that makes The Villages unique are the many different locations the Residents have come from. There are many from the mid west who are easily offended and and have not been exposed to the real world, there are the ones from the bible belt who are also offended by some abnormal behaviors. Then there are the ones from New York City and other large cities who have been exposed to the various non social behaviors and understand the "nuts" that are out there and just go on with life. Anyone who has lived or worked in NY City would not become upset or take the time to write about it as it is to be expected when you recognize and have been exposed to the crazies that live in society. Life goes on..

Maybe someone did but they would need to get it enlarged.
OK, how about a drink named for this one? Put a Vienna Sausage in a glass of vodka and call it the Weenie Wagger?
