Local politics is permitted. You can’t mention parties or infer party slang from the national level, but you can mention state and local items or regulations that directly impact the villages? National politics is strictly forbidden.

The rules state “NO POLITICAL REFERENCES ARE ALLOWED ON THE WEBSITE.” I have never seen an exception saying except for local politics. Are state races local?

State politics seems to be the line. Don’t go past it and don’t mention parties or terms that refer to parties. Stick to the facts and issues, not the people behind them.

The forum admin have addressed this previously in a thread some time in the last year, clarifying that discussion of local politics and Florida political issues is acceptable. We just can't get into political party stuff, or name-calling.
