Not much difference to those dog owners who open the gate to the tennis/pb courts and let their dogs run around , so they dont have to chase them around. No they dont pick up after their dogs either. As another comment say wait until the snowbirds come, who treat the villages like a holiday camp.

One golfer suggesting to an Ambassador that the courses should be closed until "they get here" so they are in good condition. Quite the reverse I think.
You've summed it up quite well, amazing how things have changed over the years, Villages legally is on thin ground so to speak, in trying to enforce anything, but the lack of caring on the part of some residents, some visitors and way too many dog owners and golfers is stunning at times. Just the smell from the number of people who will take their dogs anywhere (but their own yard) to "deposit" makes one wonder about their thinking process ? Same with "golfers" who drive OVER the edges of traps and greens with gas and electric carts ! Just a sad comment on society that so many (not all of course) have no respect for self, others, the amenities, or their community ! Way to the world I guess.

I believe you of course, and many other employees too I am sure, but WHY would one community have so many different sets of directives for EACH course ? You are correct I know, on one course when I passed an "ambassador" on my way to the next hole, I mentioned (NOT angry, not wanted some incident, etc.) with a light tone and smile: "you might want to keep an eye on the folks behind us, they have no handicap tag, but seem to do whatever they wish with their cart, including driving ONTO the apron, BETWEEN the lip of a trap and the GREEN, and even driving on area BETWEEN the various TEES ! ! Ambassador said: " I hear ya", and shook head slightly, " but we're told that's why we are ambassadors, not marshals, we are told not to reprimand residents or guests, it makes the place seem unfriendly I guess". I shrugged and just said, "yeah, I guess, but seems like that kind of attitude (I made it clear NOT HIS attitude, just in general) can really get costly ! ? How about the people who grind out cigarettes on the greens.... that seems like a "nothing burger" thing here too ? Go figure....

I’ll gladly walk the golf courses if permitted. My neighbors told me it was a no no.
BTW, I really appreciate your comment. Seriously, this has been very informative.

Ok let’s change the rule that doesn’t allow it. Simple.

As far as I see, the comments about snowbirds, the bad behavior and lousy park, the speeding of golf carts, etc. seems to exist here when the snowbirds are not here. Your assumptions about character and behavior are poorly placed and, I can only assume, poorly placed in all aspects of your life.
Thank you so Much for your comments! I am learning so much about the Villages now.

So that means even if there is a rule about something, you don’t have to observe the rule until the Villages sees it as a problem right? I am not being snarky, I truly want to get along and understand how things work here. Thank you so much for your comments. They are appreciated.

Oh, you mean you can’t throw junk mail trash cans at the postal stations? Wow, I didn’t know that. Guess I am busted.

Thank you for your comments. They help me understand!

Well, the total population swells by close to 50% during the snowbird season, so there's that...
