We moved in on Jan 19... and were all alone on Belcherry Loop. The only house there. We are still the only ones on the street so far. There are a few being built. We are at 3206 Belcherry Loop. We have an Iris and could not wait for neighbors to come. I am looking so forward for everyone to move in. We are from CT. Actually, we are back in CT right now. We had to go back cuz' I need a hip replacement and was miserable with pain. So we will be back as soon as I recuperate. I was so sad to leave as we are not completely furnished yet. We are going to be there full time. Hurry and move in. Look forward to meeting everyone soon!
Best of luck with the surgery recuperation. Will look for you walking neighborhood when (positive thinking....) when we get there!
Where in Ct are you from? We are originally from Hartford and Danbury ... Been gone forever but it is "in our blod!
Good luck with the get well!

Thanks, we need all the luck we can get. Actually we're going to consider a lot that backs up to a CYV wall. It seems lot's of people wait for new villages to open so they can get the best lots available. Sometimes half the lots can be sold within the first hour. One has to be alert and crafty I guess. (and have a good agent!)

Yankee Quilter, we are in lot 48 on Mayflower Loop. An Iris. Construction of the house has just begun and will be completed for closing May 14. We're from Michigan and will be part time residents until we can sell here. We'll be in the house after the closing for the rest of May and June. We think we are your neighbors.

Omg, as the kids say! We are lot 49 looks like to your left looking at the houses. We are planning a Sunflower with a bumped out front bedroom and lanai. Our garage, by the way will be to the left of the home, away from you.
Of course, it all is depending on the sale here in GA. Building before selling here is something we think about oncei nawhile, but i live here and Joe is on a contract in Arlington,VA until towards the end of the year ... Three places would bedifficult!
We are originally from CT and had 7 years in CA. I cannot wait to get out of GA and start to have some fun!
I find it amazing that we can find neighbors from the other end of the country on this site. We will get to know each other before we move!
We are Joe and Betty and we look forward to meeting and getting to know you neighbor!
Betty

Yankee Quilter-We are Nancy and Phil Brown in Presque Isle, MI, near the tip of the first finger of the Mitten. Sounds like you have been through the first step of placing a deposit on the lot and receiving a preliminary estimate? We went ahead with the second step and construction has begun. If you can visit the last two weeks on May or in June, we'll be there and would love to meet you! By the way, our driveway is on the right as you face the house, away from you too. Can't wait to get there, dine at Bonifay, and hang out at Paddock Square in Brownwood. Heard in the third edition of the Brownwood update that it will be finished around September.-Regards, Nancy and Phil

Closing on an Iris on Jan 27....Yarborough Way....if I get my act together! Should all come together now that I know which Village.....it's a start.

Where's Mayflower??
That's not so strange. We have a friend who bought a lot in Charlotte and thought it was The Village of Sumter. Our home is about two blocks north of you on Avondale. Welcome to the neighborhood, anyway.

Your message was so welcomed! Joe and I are so looking forward to the move and meeting new people and "living the life". We have been down twice, Labor Day weekend and right after Christmas and are hooked! I think I look at the floorplan at least once a week! I am anxious to hear how things go with you and your building and what you see and hear when you move down. We have no way of knowing when we will be there - I am off to put the open house sign up now, and hope for some activity.
Stay in touch!!!

Hey all, that is southern for hi: We just got back from TV and had wonderful news. We originally wanted an Iris but due to lot size had to go with a Lily on lot 37 on Dalkieth; when we met with our sales rep this time he told us they just started a stretch option on the bedroom side if the Iris; so by stretching the garage and the bedrooms we got the Iris. I am sooooo excited we close here in Smyrna in 13 days and it is TV here we come. We will be renting in Duval until the house is built but will be over there regularly. Would love to meet some of you face to face. We are Alan and Helen Wilgus from Chicago then 20 years in the Army moving 16 times then Atlanta area. We are looking forward to being frogs.

Afternoon, mayBavillager, we are from Missouri and move into our Aspen at 3237 Belcherry on March 30th. We love it here, been coming for years and waiting for my other half to retire!
My sister, deceased, was first selectman (mayor?) of Fairfield, CT.
Is there anyone left in the Northeast, you all seem to be here? We run into few Mid-westerners.

We have been in Charlotte for a few months now and are new to TV. Love it. Glad to see houses being built around us. Hoping to meet and make friends soon. We moved from IN but I'm originally from KY (Yeah, Wildcats) and my husband is originally from Long Island. Happy planning and building.

Alan and I (Helen) just moved into our rental in Duval until our house in Charlotte is built. Would love to meet some of our neighbors, where does everyone hang out? Is there any type of organized get togethers yet?

Army 20 years, Atlanta 20 years, now TV.

Default Getting Serious!

Well, Charlotte and our Sunflower to be is the topic of most of our conversations and so, finally, I got serious and bought a St. Joseph Statue! I used one, and said the parayer daily years ago when we moved here in a down market and got a great buyer! Had a hard time finding one (except on line) but it will be buried with sincere trust tonight and .... hope can say here we come soon.
BTW - price low and condition and location are great. I am not asking St. Joseph for a miracle!!!!
