The only knock on Carts and Clubs is the tiny, circular, wide angle mirrors mounted on the inside of the roof supports that are standard on their new carts. Rectangular mirrors on the outside provide a much better view.

We had a great experience with Carts & Clubs on our first cart purchase in 2013 and have just bought our new cart (2 weeks old now) from them.
Carts & Clubs does the service right in your driveway which is very convenient, especially if your cart ever breaks down. They do offer the Yamaha warranty plus a limited extension of their own (total of 5 years between the two). They completely rewire the cart to bring it all to a single easily accessible fuse box, and make it easy, should you add Liquid Lights, to make that connection without cutting and splicing. As a previous poster indicated, check out the differences in the sunbrellas and the snaps (there is an extra snap or two on each side of the cart). The new windshield they offer also allows you to open the lower section of the windshield, and it can be done on the driver side independently of the passenger side, or both simultaneously. Later in the hotter months, this will help with air flow when you are buttoned up in the cart during a thunderstorm. Some rain might get onto the upper dashboard, but it is made for rainy weather so it won't harm anything. They also add in insulation to further reduce noise on the QuietTech carts. We found that Carts & Clubs offers options not offered by The Villages and vice versa. The pricing was pretty close, so it does go to what you want more if you are going beyond a no frills cart. Note too that my wife had inquired about some extras on our original cart, and the sales manager at Carts & Clubs actually convinced her that the extras were not really worth the money and why that was so, but if she wanted them anyway, they would install them for her (she passed on them). Good customer service, friendly staff, reliable and a great cart-made it easy for us to buy from and go back to Carts & Clubs.

Just a small FYI, we were given the option by Carts and Clubs to have the outside rectangular mirrors, but stayed with the inside mirrors (we could see fine). My wife's cousin had her side mirror knocked off going over the Sumter bridge. Also, they found that when parked, people tended to hit the side view mirrors as they passed between the carts (such as with parking at the squares). I don't know how frequently this might happen, but given the questionable parking practices of some, I have personally seen TOO many tight parking instances. Ever see a car squeeze in next to a golf cart in a parking spot? I have, multiple times. I also don't want to move my mirrors in and out each time I park so that others don't bang into them.

It has been almost a year since we bought our brand new 2020 Yamaha from Country Village Power Equipment in Webster. We worked with Steve and Carolyn and saved over $3000.00. We got to pick our colors and equipment and it included factory wiring. They installed the upgraded El Tigre seats we saw at the other dealers. They are a factory authorized Yamaha dealer and provide the same Yamaha factory warranty and financing (0% at the time) as the other dealers. We shopped the dealers in the area as well as the Ocala dealer and found Country Village Power Equipment to be the best by far. I have recommended many other people to them (no, I don't work for them or get a referral fee) and they have all been extremely satisfied. The new golf cart was delivered to our driveway. Several months ago, they came to my house and performed the first service (oil change and a couple of other maintenance items) in my driveway for only $60.00. We didn't have to leave the house, drive to a service department, or wait in line with other people. It took less than 30 minutes. The local stores advertise a free loaner golf cart while yours is serviced. No need for that with Country Village. The local stores advertise a free loaner if you live south of 44 and wish to drive around to the non-connected areas. That will be discontinued, as far as I understand, once the turnpike bridge opens next month (hopefully). We highly recommend them as so far we have had a great experience with them. They are about 20 minutes south of Fenney in Webster. There is a famous flea market and farmer's market right across the street from them that I think is only open on Monday. Don't buy a golf cart without first checking them out! Save money, buy from a small local business!

To show how prices have gone up, this cart with the SS wheels, black roof, big mirrors, Ultimate Seats, chasing LED light on the rear roof, side light on the tail light, sand bottle, cooler, pin stripping and floor mats purchased new from the TV at LSL was $10,300. I've since added seat belts, LED Liquid Lights, speedometer, a second sand bottle, ball and club washer, ceiling shelf, steering wheel leather cover, cigarette lighter adapter, AM/FM radio, a fan and fuzzy dice. I have never had any maintenance issues, never been in the shop, have never had it serviced with TV, I have it serviced by Tire Choice, Willie's Cart Service and Todd Casey Cart Service, the last two came to the home. ![]() The fan was a 12 volt which I plug into the cigarette lighter adapter. I purchased it for $30 on the Home Depot website and installed the fan myself. ![]() The ceiling shelf was installed by the my seat belt installer, the same fellow who advertises in the classifies and drives a 3 wheel motorcycle. ![]() The Radio I purchased on eBay for $159 with free shipping from a dealer in Lake Placid, Florida. Here's his current ad. I purchased the antenna on eBay for $20. I installed the unit and antenna myself, I ran a 12v line to the battery. It works good, it won't blast you out, but I like it and has good reception. Golf cart radio mini-max, smallest on the market with big 6.5" Speakers | eBay ![]() |

I believe that's just a case of them either being too busy to update the site or just sloppy. On this other golf cart thread, on this page about 3 or 4 posters mentioned buying new carts from I-4 Country Power and one poster gave all the details price wise, $10,300 for a 2021.
Where did you get that killer deal on your new yamaha golf car? |

The place I bought it at and it was not The Village Golf Cart Store. I got the exact cart I wanted for at least $3,000 less than what they were charging. Extremely happy with my cart.

The salesman said the same thing when I bought the cart. I gave the little mirrors a try and hated the distorted view. Bought the mirrors with the front and back leds cheap online. Bend them in when necessary. Didn't even have to cut or splice the turn signal wires due to a crimpable fitting with an available opening already there. |

I spent time at both the Villages Golf Cars and the Villages Discount Golf Cars. The first sells new and used, the latter only refurbished. I bought used through Discount. My post purchase feelings? Got a decent price. Got a decent cart. Probably got more on it. But, if I had to do it again, I’d probably spend more and go with new. You are going to use it, a lot. I’d buy new. I was talked out of a 4 seater by Discount. You can always rent when the kids come, they said. True, but you better plan ahead. I’d buy the 4 seater new from The Villages if I could do it over.

My neighbor bought a refurbished cart from Villages Discount Golf Cars on 466 in 2018, it was a 2017 cart, he paid $9,300. It had upgraded seats, but no center armrest which I have on my cart and wouldn't do without. It had all the standard Villages upgrades like the curtains and they painted the cart blue like he wanted. However, the curtains used velcro instead of zippers and they don't seem to hold as well and fit together very well. When it's starting to rain and you're in a hurry, it's a problem when stuff doesn't work right. He had one other flaw, the big mirrors with the turn signals, after about six months they fell right off. The vibrations was just too much and the support arms just weren't strong enough.
