Default Beware of the Whacker!

Wasn't sure whether to laugh or flinch today. Saw a guy driving a golf cart carrying a kid's baseball bat. Whenever he went by someone with their knee sticking out, he would lean out and hit the knee. You could hear him cackle when he connected. To say a few drivers were startled would be putting it mildly but their knees did seem to stay in their carts after going by this "gentleman." So, if you're a knee-sticker-outer, beware of The Whacker! Who knows where or when he will strike again.

I would have to say that he will be the cause of an accident. Personally I would report him to the police. Anyone who sees him in action let the police know.

I find your story hard to believe. No one that he hit chased down this guy? You saw it and didn't call the cops? If two carts are traveling at 20MPH in opposite
directions that is like getting whacked with a bat at 40MPH and would surely hurt a lot even if it was plastic which I assume it was.

Oh, why the heck would you laugh????

These would be very helpful to have Redwitch--time, place, color and type of golf cart, description of man, etc.

It seems like men are the knee-sticker-outers. I cannot recall a single woman with her knee sticking out of a golf cart.

Would like to know more about the Whacker. Such practical jokers could cause a lot of damage to other drivers and their golf carts.

Hope it was a plastic bat!!

Not to worry - just wear a leg/shin guard. BRING IT!!

But on the serious side, someone's going to confront that guy at some point.....and it probably won't be pretty!

I don't stick my knee out, but now I am going to start all the time. Hit me and I will own you and all of yours. Hope you had a great time living in the Village for I will be enjoying all that you have worked and saved for.

I think that's terrible that someone is hurting people while driving their cart. Who does that to people??? This is sick! Please report him. I'll be down in 2 weeks. He'd better not wack my knee.....I will now refrain.

This is the second post you made like this. It reminds me of a line in the Bill Murry movie "Strips" "If anybody touches my stuff, I'll kill ya, if anybody calls me Francis, I'll kill ya"

Then the Sergent says "lighten up Francis" so lighten up Figmo!
