Oh, thank god!

But wait, I'm still seeing YOUR posts!

I might have to remedy that situation...

So if you break down my front door and I fight you that means I’m punishing you? How about it means I am defending myself. There is no contradiction, reading comprehension is a good thing.

Call it what you will. Their stock price doesn’t seem to suggest it was a good thing.

DIS has been declining for 2 years. They have problems, but this isn't it. And now Netflix is impacting all the streamers. Why anyone is surprised that the end of the pandemic means the end of the streaming party is beyond me

Who broke down anyone's front door? A better analogy would be if I was standing on the sidewalk protesting and you called the police to take arrest me.

When I talked back to my parents and they took away my game boy were they fighting with me or was that punishment?

When I didn't stop speaking in class and was sent to detention was that the school fighting with me or punishing me?

When someone gets too political on ToTV and gets a timeout is ToTV fighting with them or punishing them?

When someone goes too far on Twitter and gets a timeout is Twitter fighting with them or punishing them?

When someone makes a threat against the president and is fined or has his freedom taken away is the US Govt fighting with them or punishing them?

When anyone in a position of authority exercises that authority to take something away from another party is that a fight or is that punishment?

The difference between those examples and what just occurred is that in those examples the speaking or the writing violated a rule or regulation. In this case the statements by Disney didn't violate any rule, they just made someone angry. They made him angry enough to flex his authority and take something away from Disney. Disney was punished for speaking out.

Yes, reading comprehension is a very good thing, along with unbiased, critical thinking.

Disney attacked, our governor pushed back. That’s called defense. About as simple as it gets.

Yes, because sometimes "speaking out" has consequences. Freedom of speech means the government can't stop you from saying something, it DOES NOT mean you are immune from the consequences.
