I believe these are incentives to become a member at a particular location. The Lady Lake location is not open yet and is therefore selling pre-opening memberships at a discount. I don't know about the Groupon offer but it doesn't surprise me that it is not valid at a location that is not open yet.

Once you are a member at a particular location you can visit any BJ's store. We have taken the $25 offer at Lady Lake. As I understand it, our membership is valid today at any BJ's location but will not expire until one year after the Lady Lake location officially opens. We should get 15 months or more of membership (depending on when the Lady Lake location opens) for less than the cost of a single year.

I don't know if there is any benefit to having your membership at your local BJ's. We purchased our Sam's club membership in Md but shop at the Lady Lake location regularly with no problems.

Once you have an initial membership at BJ’s can be used any location. I purchased a discount promotion in Clermont then used it a week later in Rhode Island. It’s a promotional event in anticipation of a new store opening/ or recruiting new shoppers bring the add to secure the best deal.

100% correct. Use what ever deal you want and once you get your membership card it is good in all BJs location. I still have my original card from around 1990. The picture is a little old but it still works. Norplant even sure if they take your picture anymore.

I think the BJ's membership can be used at any BJ's. But, the Groupon deal also includes free breakfast items, which are not available at the Lady Lake location.

Stopped by at the BJ trailer this afternoon.

The store will now open some time in May they have no idea as to date.

The $ 25 membership is for 12 months starting today. Can go to any BJ but the lady was definite it starts today.

Will have deli, bakery and butcher shop so we will be joining.
