I wanna say this. I see clean. Shiny, perfect, orderly, immaculate clean. That takes a lot of work and I just love clean. LOVE IT. Wow.

TH, I'm sorry, but that's no workshop, unless the work you are doing is "cleanroom" work like assembling spacecraft electronics for NASA. I can't imagine anyone having the audacity to get sawdust or metal shavings on that beautiful floor. And the tools! Tools all shiny and in their proper places! Darn . . . I wish I hadn't see those pictures. Now I'm depressed.

My husband would be so envious of that workshop! Just curious, is that in the garage of a Village floorplan? I could get hubby to TV sooner if he thinks he could have something like that! LOL

Default What was I thinkin'??????

Well, TH, that is one impressive workshop. But I should not have shown Mr. Boomer the pictures.

He was working on the kitchen tear-out and was happily lugging some of the old cabinets down into the basement so he could hang them up near his work benches.

Like I said, that was OK. WAS is the operative word here though.

Then......I showed him the pictures.

Now he thinks we should build an extra garage with great windows and a cool floor and all manner of things tool.

I don't know why, but for some reason, most of my life, since I can remember, there are old songs that pop into my head to go with certain situations.

And there is a really old song from WWI that now fits Mr. Boomer, who was happy until just a few minutes ago, so happy with his makeshift workshop and his castoff cabinets.

But no more.

Now it's just like that song, "How Ya Gonna Keep 'Em Down On The Farm After They Seen Paree?"

Ohhhh TH, I sure hope you do not have any pictures of ham radio antennas.

Boomer

I do all kinds of stuff. Electronics, woodworking, general household repairs, work on my scuba equipment, ham radio, electronics for my motorcycle and truck and anything else that strikes me at the moment.
