Thumbs up Brownwood....to open in the fall of 2012

When talking about misinformation, I really like to get my info right from the horse's mouth. Well...maybe from the pony's mouth....(not the a--hole's mouth!)

Okay.....Brownwood Square is scheduled to open THIS FALL! There will elevated seating.....and it's going to be WONDERFUL!

Here's the latest. These videos never cease to amaze me. Those who are so quick to diss the Morse Family.......need to look at each one of these videos to appreciate what goes into the making of a wonderful (but not perfect) community!

Enjoy!

What will they think of next?? This square is sure to please a lot of people. I must admit, I'm not a western fan but the concept is cool.

Hey Swimdawg, THANKS!
Of course, could be that the negative Cocoa-Puffs around these parts may consider it phony baloney propaganda.

I tried to teach a pig to sing opera once, but all I succeeded in doing was exhausting myself and annoying the pig.
Know what I mean, jelly bean?

Its like coming home for me.

I spent my summers on Torch Lake in Northern MI within walking distance of Brownwood Acres. The locals called it The Honey House and still do.

For a while the Morse family had a restaurant/ club there but the population there is mainly in the summer so they shut the restaurant portion down. Maybe thats when he went to TV. In the SS logo store they sell Brownwood jellies and mustards etc. and they are good.

W. Torch Lake Drive and Brownwood Blvd are real places in MI and soon to TV.

Morse and his family certainly have a vision for TV. As they move from north to south, many things are improved as they see areas of how they improve whether it be wider cart roads, more walk ways or extra touch for the homes like walk-in showers. Seating areas for Brownwood is another. I may be slaughtered for equating Morse with Steve Jobs but Jobs was no angel but he knew what people wanted. Morse has that touch and he can be called the Steve Jobs of Real Estate or certainly one for Retired Community. He took that away from Del Webb by a mile IMHO.

Well, slaughter may not be the correct term. But - I think it's unfair to equate any of the Morse Family (or the founder) with Steve Jobs. I have read the Jobs book and I do not see a lot in common, other than putting out a quality product.

I would not be so quick to judge the Morse Family.

And I tend to think it would be difficult to find anyone with better visions in their particular endeavors than the Morse family or Steve Jobs. On that I feel they are on similar ground.

Both parties are/were very intelligent plus have/had vision.

Brownwood Town Center will be very close to Wildwood. As we all know, the town squares, restaurants, businesses, and bars are open to all the public. I am wondering if Brownwood Town Center is going to be a popular spot for the citizens of Wildwood to hang out at and enjoy the music, entertainment, and dancing each night. Hope it would not become too crowded so residents of The Villages would not have the same enjoyment as as Spanish Springs or Lake Sumter Landing - which are also open to everyone but a further distance from Wildwood.

I'm not sure I agree. I think the older rec centers and country clubs, when they were new, were nicer than the ones being built currently.
