Since when did the replacment of the "arms" get outsourced?????? They used to be removed and replaced by community watch. The involved automobile owner was charged $350 for their discretionary destroying the gate.

What’s the point of even having gates anymore? No one checks you through, even though a person manning the gate is there- they just wave you through. Back in around 2010, I felt like the gates were a protective device, now I think they’re stupid and pointless. If you don’t have your swipe card, you shouldn’t get in without showing ID or just get rid of the gates. Personally, my parents own a home there and I felt safe knowing gates existed. I like the concept, but not if your just going to open them for anyone.
I think they keep the gates as a selling point for new buyers “Look we protect you”…if new, perspective buyers only knew the stupidity of how those gates are managed 🙄

My amenities went up 25. bucks only to get worse service. And the golf cart gate in orange blossom is wide open allowing all the other community carts to pour right in and use our amenities.. Then there are a few homeless bikers most I have seen all drugged up. On their way to your community via this little shortcut.
