Technically, yard waste is supposed to be either in the large paper bags or tied into bundles. Most of our garbage guys are nice enough to pick things up regardless, but not all. So, you do risk not having yard waste not picked up if in the black bags or left loose. Lady Lake is more stringent about this, especially refusing to pick up loose branches if not tied together.
