Who wants to wait on the phone 30 min, be transferred five times to someone who doesn't speak English

I put in Kichler light kits that I bought on Amazon for about $85 each. They match the fans perfectly and the connectors are a simple plug in and you're good to go.

Just wondering - do the majority of installed ceiling fans have the option for a light kit or not? Or ... do they have a light kit installed already?

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

Lowe’s has a choice of one LED bulb or two, both in a single frosted glass globe. I bought one for the guest room. The price has increased to about $58, I think. However, on Amazon I found fan lights with three or four bulbs with separate shades, and that’s what I wanted for the living room and the master bedroom. They are supposed to work directly with the Harbor fans sold at Lowe’s. A little more money but at times a lot of light is needed.

Default I prefer no ceiling light.

I have a couple new ceiling fan lights. I’m happy to sell for eight dollars each.

We bought 4 kits at Lowes and added lights to the bedrooms and the living room.

We bought light kits for all our fans, and when we replaced them, we bought fans with lights.

We looked into the Kitchler kit. Was over $100 where I looked. I then installed one kit I bought from Lowes for around $40 that required stripping 4 wires but it worked out fine. Then installed another kit from Home Depot that was even cheaper and had a harness that just plugged right in, not cutting/stripping wires.
