We have Verizon and for the last several weeks have experienced numerous dropped calls daily. It wasn't like that until this fall. We are in Sanibel.

Exactly our experience in Charlotte. Called Verizon, not much help, but said they opened a ticket.

We call verizon often about dropped calls. The manager at the store said they are aware of the problem south of 466a. Their tower cannot keep up with all the new building going on. Yesterday when my husband called Verizon, again, they told him he could purchase an adapter for $250 to boost his service, or find a new carrier. We have been with Verizon for years, and that's their solution, find a new carrier, well that is just what we will do.

A close-by neighbor just moved from Charlotte to Pinellas...also had poor signal recently in Charlotte, and great signal in Pinellas on Verizon. Perhaps distance to cell tower? I have no idea where they are located south of 466A. The worst thing is when people call me and it goes direct to voicemail, and I am home...or when I am talking to them and they say, "can't hear you, you are breaking up..."

Verizon is way to expensive for poor quality and lack of customer servce. I also had a home with poor signal strength once with Sprint, and they provided their Airave device free...made a world of difference, but I'm not willing to spend $250 more with Verizon, they are supposd to be the best.
