Probably depends on where you live here. We're south of 466 and ours has been fine...even throughout the storm. I do know that folks w/out power (not sure if this would apply here) that have Duke will have to wait til Duke fixes something huge. It's on Duke's end, THEN they can begin fixing everyone else's issues. Heard this from a Duke Customer this morning.

My internet and phone were down for about 24 hours. They came back up at about 2:30 PM Tuesday Sept 12. Village of Calumet Grove.

We only watch a few stations on DIRECTV now, mostly Fox News, one america news, fox business and tvland. As far as sports, I was a diehard New England/Boston fan when I was younger but I'm losing interest as I get older which surprises me.
Back home I've been a projector nut since the late 90's. Presently I have a Benq set up with a 96" screen. My wife won't let me set one up down here but I'll keep working on her.
I learned something new, I had never heard of Benq. I just looked it up, 96" would be like a drive-in movie in my CYV. It took me a couple of weeks to use to the 75" we just bought. At first I thought I made a mistake, now I love it. I've always been into rock music since the Beatles. I had 4,000 albums when I moved to Florida. I got hooked on live concert DVD's, it's just like going to a show without all the hassles and costs, I had 300 concerts but now I don't buy them anymore. On Youtube there are thousands of concerts and videos for free. I have a youtube page and select favorites and put them in various chapters and then on my smart TV I can watch them all, most in surround sound.

I'm not much of a news junkie, I watch mostly sports or movies. I'm an O's and Ravens fan, born in Baltimore but grew up in St. Pete. Tampa Bay Bucs would be secondary team, especially with Jameis Winston, I've been a Seminole fan since the 60's. My wife is a true crime junkie, she's watching ID Channel, Reelz, OWN, Bravo, any channel that shows Dateline, 48 Hours and 20/20 reruns, they seem to be on all day. We were both Courtv junkies until they took that off, that was a good channel. My neighbor/golfing partner is a Red Sox/Pats fan so I get to hear about them a lot.

When power is lost and restored, CL sometimes gets confused. I got this from tech support some time ago for fiber users:
1. Reset CyberLink in the garage: unplug & plug in
2. Reset Modem/Gateway
3. Reset SetTopBox
4. Reboot PC & test

Must be done in order shown and complete each step before proceeding.

I would like even larger than 96" but you do need a big room. Have to settle for 50" down here though (for now). Projectors are a good bang for the buck too. $700-$800 (on sale) will get you a big clear picture (not a 4K picture though). If you have white/ light beige colored walls you can get a screen later. My screen at home is made of furring strips, plywood and white bathroom paneling and cost about $75.00.

I agree, concerts are great on a big screen. I've got quite a few of them on blu-ray.

As far as sports is concerned, what upsets me is that these guys are earning millions and rather than being humble and thankful, some of them take a knee for our national anthem. That really p*sses me off.

If you have CL fiber to your home, there is a white box labelled CyberLink located inside the irrigation/tv/phone panel in the garage. I have always had fiber since being here, so if you don't have fiber you may not have this.
