Can he be loud? Yes! Can it be a little bizarre? Yes! But the guy moves around not staying in one spot. He gets to do his thing without harming anyone. So if it bothers you that much then maybe you shouldn't go. Not sure what you want to hear on here. Should we all get together and run him out like the towns people chasing Frankenstein up the tower.???????????

After reading this forum for the 5 years I have lived here I am not sure why this thread is causing me to post for the first time . Maybe it’s because for two years all I have heard is, your rights end, where mine begin ( mask, no mask ,, vac , no vac) . Why does that not apply here? No one cares that he dances around , conducts , spins etc. but when he screams and shouts and chants , that is a different story . His “exuberance” is infringing on my right to enjoy the music . Last night for example Bobby B was doing a slow blues love song and all you could here was this guy screaming and chanting. Disrespectful to the band and everyone else there . So stop with your live and let live, and if you don’t like it don’t go stuff, and admit that there are standards of reasonable behavior in public,,,, and he is WAY over the line.

Get your pitchforks and torches ready!

Just give the guy a break and leave him alone, he obviously is starved for attention.

In fact I think we should all get behind him and follow his moves.

I don’t know of this man but wondering (based on the description) if he might have Tourette’s syndrome. One of the characteristics of Tourette’s is uncontrollable “tics” and his loud outbursts could be his tic. Tics can vary from person to person who have Tourette’s.

Clark Barrios Band - YouTube

I am feeling the music. Did I just yell? Ooops. Might have woke the neighbors.

Oh, then I can bring my trombone to the square and play? I do not care what people do or look like, but when they interfere with the music, their behavior needs to be addressed. People should act with some regard to the people around them.

I can understand that the powers-that-be would be cautious to intervene regarding most of his behaviour, but the screams in my opinion cross the line. They are so loud and blood curdling that they are a distraction to the music and, especially if nearby and unanticipated, they are startling and even a bit scary.

Maybe everybody but me thinks it's cute. Again, part of me has sympathy for the gentleman. His dancing alone would likely be just another curiosity at the square. But I simply don't think the extreme part of his antics...the screaming...should be tolerated.

Okay. I've vented.
I agree his behavior crosses the line. If he did that inside the Rialto he would be escorted out.

That would be a planned obstruction of the music. Kind of different from that person, Mark, who is just enjoying the Square and yelling once in a while. The musicians probably like his enthusiasm and could curb it very easily if they wanted.

Yelling once and a while ??? Seriously ? You must not go there very often , It is constant and obnoxious . Also have you spoken to the band members , because I have ,,,,, they hate it , but have been told to ignore it .

Why should anyone stay away from the square because of this guy. It's everyone's right to enjoy the square. He may be nice, and he can dance and enjoy himself all he wants, but the blood curdling screams must not be tolerated. It's over the top and he's disturbing the peace. A police officer should be called to speak to him about this and to tell him to stop.
