..... and I am shocked that people can be so ignorant. There is nothing that happens in this world that the US Govt does not know. If the balloon had been a direct threat to us it would have been down immediately. There are enough spy satellites in space to give us all the information we need.

They said yesterday they have been sending balloons many many years now. Nothing new. They are always tracked and no threat. Same evidence can be gathered from their existing satellites. They don’t shoot them down, because of the harm it could cause with debris landing on the ground, or godforbid their is some radioactive material in their construction of the equipment.

What we need is someone to take the reins and organize a multi state “mooning” at the balloon by all residents of Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota before it floats away. Can’t hurt and might help it go away sooner.
