To call it a meat market or low end establishment is offensive to all of the good people who go there.
The Band of Brothers is an awesome group. We have known many of them for several years.
When my daughter had her house fire, they gathered and passed the hat to their entire group and donated a lot of money they collected to my daughter. We are very grateful to them.

I am there quite often, probably 4 or 5 times a week and I would not call myself "low end" nor have I ever seen anyone there who fits that title and many a night, I am there at closing and have not seen any low end people.

We accept your apology.
Well said Kathie

I'm not sure how you come to this conclusion.
City Fire is such an awesome place and they help so many people.
My daughter had a house fire a few years ago in Summerfield. Her and my grandson lost everything they own including a couple of their kitties. City Fire was right there doing a fundraiser and taking up collections for them.
When one of their employees was in a devastating car accident, they were right there. Told him no matter how long it took to get well, he always had a job there.
They have raised thousands of dollars for charities such as Breast Cancer, our Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Tips for Cops and so many other great charities.
They are very community orientated and really care.
I agree Bonnie, nothing wrong with City Fire.....but there are those that judge.....the Italian place down the street is less fun, more subdued and has a different clientele, nothing wrong with that, just different strokes for different folks.....and there are always those that judge in favor of their bias.

This requires more explanation. What do you base this on?

CF is owned, run and managed up upstanding people who have good hearts. It is unfortunate that a few bad eggs have rolled in to make things smell rotten. I have always enjoyed being at CF with my friends and family, and have never seen any inappropriate behavior. Those who take it upon themselves to over indulge have done just that--taken it upon themselves. And if they get in trouble, it is their own fault--not CF's or any other restaurant/bar in the area. Isn't it time for everyone to grow up and take responsibility for their own actions?

City Fire does not serve till 2am. The bar and restaurant close at midnight and they do last call at 11:15. It never said that City Fire served him that much it said that he consumed that much. Who knows what he had before, after or even in his car or golf cart. It seems to me that it is easy to place blame on other people when the actual blame should be placed on the person or persons causing trouble. There is no bubble over the villages. Bad things happen all over. Its time to take responsibility for our own actions and the decisions that we make and stop blaming everyone around.

I am getting used to the fact that there are a lot of anonymous posters who LIVE to stir up arguments, put down this whole place and the developer and try to get our blood pressure up.

Those of us who live here KNOW what a wonderful life it is. And those who are not lucky enough, who may live just outside the borders, who are too young to afford to live here and may unhappily work here, those that have lived carelessly and not planned for retirement and those who and have always been a wet blanket or a pot stirrer are always trying to start trouble.

I think people are born that way. I saw many little people in my class who were trouble makers and are probably still trouble makers. I think the tendency is innate.

For the rest of us happy people, living the dream is the best answer to the trouble makers.

I dislike CFire because the atmosphere feels sleazy, and it has dark haunties in spirit.

Apologies to anybody with different viewpoint. No personal offense...just diff strokes..
I need to ask this out of curiosity, what does "dark haunties in spirit" mean? I like the ring of it and may use it one day.

Gracile....I agree wholeheartedly....

To the Admin........there surely is a way to block and not admit people that obviously have nothing to do with Tne Villages and don't intend and want to live here...please try investigating this......

Nicely stated.
