I hope that the new residents enjoy the HEAT and HUMIDITY that comes to Florida every summer. Also, the earth has had record HEAT for the last 8 years and maybe 30 more (as predicted). Only individuals can change this outcome by buying Electric Golf Carts, bicycles, and vehicles.
......Please note how many E-bicycles that you see ridden by those that understand Florida's problem HEAT.

My guess is that they just no longer have the strength to pedal...

But please, continue to crap on any and all threads with this nonsense...

Just a few more items I considered before deciding to buy near Daytona Beach:

There is a very active Ice rink with adult hockey leagues in Daytona Beach.

Never having to hear about STD's when I tell someone about my winter place in Florida.

And of course .... Biker Chicks.

So you care about the planet? What is the carbon footprint produced by the energy required to keep the ice rink in Daytona Beach you are enamored with operational?

Yeah, but now, you'll have to worry about REAL STD's...

The rinks in Wesley Chapel are a 50 minute ride from here, but have great leagues and many TV people play there.

AdventHealth Center Ice is the largest ice sports facility in the Southeast! With over 150,000 square feet, our five-rink complex includes three North American standard National Hockey League (NHL) ice rinks, one Olympic/International standard ice rink, and one mini-rink.

As a boy from boston as well, all the reasons make perfect sense from a boston point of view. Hockey, environmental, near but not on beach, etc.

good luck and TV isn't for everybody, might not even be for us, we will see.. .
