I usually just get breakfast items at McDonalds. Last time at Colony it was fast. Perhaps Colony has become inefficient because the new Mcd on powell and 44 is owned by the people. Maybe thay transferred some employees from colony to the new store.

Was travelling up on 95 in Carolina a few months ago and did a quick stop at a McDs...ate inside, place was filthy.

Ray Kroc is rolling in his grave!
Wow!?! Ray Croc hasn't been involved with McDonald's for nearly 50 YEARS.

I’m confused, how does Mickie D’S go downhill fast when all they serve is McGarbage and they are already at the bottom of the hill to begin with?

If you read the post I stated some areas. I didn’t reference Florida, and just so you’re up to date, employers in all businesses are offering more then the minimum state wage to attract employees.

I read the post, but the thread is about a specific McDonald's in The Villages.

How abvout that nifty brain wave reader they held a class and presentation on at the WEF. So great and exciting. The overseer can see the brainwaves and interpretation of said waves for each employee. The program will let you know if the employee is concentrating on the work, or daydreaming, or having romantic thoughts/fantasies of other employees. Isn't that great. And the employees will benefit too. For nthis tiny intrusion, the company can give a hundred bonus each month to the employee who spent the most time concentrating on their job. Win Win. Allo we have to do is be willing to allow others to have access to our mind.

I stopped in for lunch at this location a few days ago and they had closed the walk in dining room due to the restroom was flooded. There was a crew running around the parking lot looking for where the sewer connects to the street. You can’t blame managers or employees for something the contractor screwed up.

Management needs to get on the ball fast. Used to be a favorite but no more
If you think McD's is bad, go to a Burger King. They are worse. In these days, would hate to be a manager. They probably spend 50% of their time hiring and training employees. To make matters worse, bet there is a lower % of people in the TV area who do want to work at places like this. Not a lot of high schoolers/young adults in the TV area.

No, they meant higher. Higher unemployment rates means more people who are unemployed. In the state of Florida, it means more people getting $275 per week maximum, for only 12 weeks maximum. If they've only been earning $200/week at their part time job and became unemployed, they'll be getting only around $120/week unemployment for those 12 weeks. If they haven't worked a full year before becoming unemployed, they might be getting no unemployment at all.

That's a lot of hungry unemployed people who aren't able to make ends meet, and more desperate to work. That means they are more likely to prove they're worth hiring - and keeping.

A high unemployment rate means it's an employer's market. A low unemployment rate means it's an employee's market.

I order the kid's meal, same price every time. It's just enough fast food for me for one sitting. I go there 2x a month.
