George

P.S. I tried the grocery lists but that didn't answer my earlier question.
After I posted this question on TOTV I emailed Publix asking about the item locator feature on the iPhone app. Here's Publix response.

Dear Mr. Young,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your question and allowing us the opportunity to serve you. We always enjoy hearing from our customers, and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us as your grocer of choice.

When you create your shopping list, the aisle locations of products can be found on the left hand side of your list (next to the products). Make sure your app is set to the store location you are shopping at. The aisle locator can only be found when using the grocery list. If you are still having issues locating the directory of the store via your app please give us a call and we will be more than happy to walk you through the steps of finding the locator.

We hope we have answered your question to your satisfaction. Should you have additional follow up, please do not hesitate to contact our customer care specialist at 1-800-242-1227. You may also contact us via email at www.publix.com/contact or write us at Publix Super Markets, Inc., P.O. Box 407, Lakeland, FL 33802, ATTN: Customer Care. Please be sure to reference your case identification number. We look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Sincerely,
Sasha

I never have any trouble finding a place to park, shopping, or finding a checkout line at Publix at Colony. I go at all different times of the day, different days of the week, always have a great experience shopping at Publix.

Default Sweeybay will make no difference

when the new sweetbay opens you won't notice any difference in the traffic at publix in colony. villagers only picks up bogos and certain specialty items at sweetbay. just an observation.
