Double check about that, up here in NY you have to be a member to even buy a GC from Costco. Moving down in 8 weeks having it near by would be great!

If I am not able to go to an actual store, I use their online services. I like to support the company, even when it isn't conveniently located for me. I hope the rumors are correct and that one day soon there will be a Costco near The Villages!

What permit could you apply for if you have not purchased land?

Ahhhh and the rumors continue. Time will tell but in the 10 yrs we've lived here, it's been..."they're coming and they're not coming!" Then you'll hear, "my neighbor was there and the stock person told them he'd heard in the break room they're coming!" I've only visited one once or twice back in the area we moved here from. So can't say if I'd be a fan or not.

Hopefully, but I definitely won't hold my breath.

Nahh, more likely where the Kitchen Store is going out of business at Lake Sumter Landing across from the movie theater. Probably a "Super Bealls" where you mentioned.

You're correct. Either it changed or I was mistaken HOWEVER I am sure anyone knows someone that is a member who could buy them a gift card.

I've never been a member or even inside a Costco, but last year I was searching for golf gloves. I bought 4 Callaway gloves off their website for $25. I think I paid 5% more as a non-member and $2 shipping. For about $30 I got four gloves that were worth about $15 each in local stores.

I support your response to Costco. Hopefully, there are more that feel as we do and will write them as well.

About 4 years ago I wrote to them and suggested that they consider stores in areas with retirees. I called it Costco Silver. They could tailor their products for that type of market. Never heard back from them but someday some exec. there will come up with a great idea of opening stores in areas of large populations of senior citizens.

Default Costco

I heard that a Costco is being built by the Russell-Stover somewhere on 44.
