Granted this is peripheral, but did the car display anything to indicate it qualified for handicapped parking? If not, whenever my better half sees his, a call goes to the parking division via 911, and they actually come and ticket the vehicle. In deference to those who truly need that parking spot, take a minute and make the call.

I bought a 2018 Audi Q5 (SUV) when I retired because it really has a smooth ride and great handling and appealed to my eyes. First time I Ireally strayed from Toyotas or Hondas. At 44K miles the AC blew out. It took Audi 6 days to find a new unit and belt anywhere in North America (got one in Canada). Final repairs, which required the dash board to be removed and then re-installed invovling 30 hrs. of labor at $200 per was covered by the warranty. When it was returned the right side vents blew warm air when AC on, the left ones blew luke warm air. Back to Audi... needed a new "evaporator." 3 weeks later the Q5 was returned after going thru the dashboard deal. I asked the repair manager if all engine work involved the dashboard deal. He said only repair requiring that is the evaporator. Really?
Scotty Kilmer an auto repair guy from R.I. and Tenn. said on podcast (2 million subscibers, billions of views) that the first Audi he worked on (years ago) required the engine be lifted out for some minor repair and the best thing to do with it was "sell the Audi, ASAP".
German?--- After I bought the Q5 I read the % info on where the parts were made......98% Mexico!

Had a BMW 328is. Loved the car, but reliability was not its strong suite. I used to say "Everything to repair on this car is $500. Unless it's $1,000". And that was almost 20 years ago.

When it was running, it was incredible. But got rid of it, and in 2011 bought a used 2001 Z28 Camaro convertible. Yes, not a BMW. But other than basic maintenance, barely in the shop after over 20 years of existence. The LS1 engine and auto trans package is bulletproof. Less than a year ago had to replace the left side window motor. After more than 20 years.

And you never walk into an auto parts store and have the guy behind the counter say "We don't carry parts for Camaros". And those parts have always been cheap.
