I have no problem with people that have medical or religious reasons for not being vaccinated. But, I do have problems with people that choose to ignore public safety for some political feeling or for "rights" or based on misinformation.

I do not know you, and accept that your reasons are valid. I am not responding to attack you. You stated your beliefs and I stated mine.

I was wondering the same thing. There are lots of people who have natural immunity to the virus because they already had and recovered from the virus.

Florida is handling this whole thing right. Businesses, including cruise lines, should not be asking to see our personal health records.

So make a photocopy of the card and laminate the photocopy. You can repeat the process if you need a booster in the future and your original copy needs a new stamp.

When you own a business or a cruise line you can make the decision if you want to risk your business or cruise line. So far, the cruise lines do not. If you don't want to play then you have option of not patronizing those businesses or cruise lines that conflict with your opinion.

You may not like the comparison, but whenever we start grouping people and giving more rights to one group over the other it almost always turns ugly. We should have learned that lesson by now but we just aren't all that bright sometimes.
No one on this thread said anything remotely like this. This is about a contagious illness and a way to stop the contagion. I am vaccinated. No one ever has said anyone must be vaccinated. It just appears to me to be the smart thing to do. In my age group, one out of ten will die if they catch Covid-19. You apparently have had your shots or are in the safer age group of twenty or younger.

Correct! The cards are easily forged and falsified.

Haven't you received any documentation when you received your shot(s)?

That documentation is part of your medical records that you should keep for yourself.

Well most of us who live here in Sumter County; 85% of those 65 and older are vaccinated against Covid-19.

We know we are vaccinated. If something comes up that needs for us to show our vaccination record, we will have it.

Seems like there is a lot of talk that encourages people not to get vaccinated. It is entirely up to each individual. I am proud to live in a county with the highest amount of vaccinated people in the entire State of Florida.

Safe....is a good feeling.

Enough already----THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!!.

The breakthrough COVID infection rate among those fully vaccinated is 0.008%
That means only 1 in 13,000 vaccinated people can get COVID, and probably less than that can pass it on. These are not my numbers, they are from the CDC and you can look them up for yourself rather than continually repeating the idiotic rumor that the shot does not protect you.

I don’t think people who are choosing not to get vaccinated are ignoring public safety, and I think very few are rejecting it because of political beliefs or rights. Many are rejecting it because they don’t feel as though it’s been proven safe due to limited testing and the fact that none are FDA approved. It’s their right not to participate in the clinical study that is ongoing, and I don’t have any negative opinions about people making that choice. A few years or less down the road, all of those who rushed into get the vaccines may feel differently based on long term results. Time will tell, but no one should presume that you know what’s best for others.

No,not punished, just not allowed onto the boat. Jezzz....what don't you get. We ALL lived through this terrible thing. We all want to get back to normal-get out and do things,be with people, go to restaurants and go on a cruise. Which if they allow unvaccinated people aboard is counterproductive....so you want the cruise...get the shot...if you don't want to go...that's fine....but do NOT call us the whiners...we did our part.
Unvaccinated(by choice not med nec)..be quiet and grow up.

Yes,I heard that and of course it makes sense especially if you need a reprint of your card.

So no SS# required, to tie to your medical records. 7 out of our golf group their cards had either first or last name spelled incorrectly, and then those with handwriting so bad, looks like a 5 year old wrote it. All asked for a card correcting the mistakes, none were give the option. Multiple site used, so it’s happening everywhere.

So far the most accurate cards seem to be coming from government run vaccine sites. Healthcare employee vaccine is tied to their employers records, if they chose to get the vaccine.
If you are military, and used a VA site, your info is tied to my healthy vet, automatically.
