I've been on this forum for almost 6 years. Seen many, many comments about the SUN. I assume that the poster received today's paper? Is that a big enough headline, story and pics for you? This is not a gigantic paper. They don't have reporters trotting out to news events throughout the country. They take their feeds from services and prepare the paper early in the night with a marginal number of employees. This is a very common event where it make look light they slight some story only to have full coverage the next day. Can't believe some people expect the NY Times in central Florida.

Mrs. Buggy and I really enjoy The Daily Sun as we sit in our Florida Room watching the ibis' and mockingbirds catch their breakfast - as we enjoy our coffee and toast.

We like all parts of the paper to include the local news, some national news, the puzzles, and the advertised sales. True, it is not The Washington Post but I read that online.

We really enjoy the Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday editions for the opinion page with the columnists and the letters to the editors. Some are very conservative, some letters are very liberal, and it is an enjoyment to know that this is a country that both sides can express viewpoints on their government - even if the viewpoints may be perceived as a little wacky by one reader or another.

Don't expect The Daily Sun to have the content of a big city paper. It certainly has more than a lot of the tiny weekly papers some towns have where the big news is who visited who for Sunday dinner.

If you don't like it - don't subscribe. Very simple decision.

I agree with you regarding the priorities of the Daily Sun. They have spent alt o money on ink describing an g healthcare porgram that will not accept everyonme and unless you have united healkthcare you pay on your own.

We subscribe to three papers Orlando Sentinel, Daily Sun and Wall street Journal, along with various magazines, etc.

The Orlando Sentinel and Wall street Journal always arrive before the Daily Sun.

I can say something positive about the Daily Sun. I like their publication of
Mallard Filmore.

The Orlando Sentinel does have a left leaning bent .

Finally anytime someone says something like ïf you don't like it ........in my mind they have lost their argument.

The OP had every ready to express his/her opinion. Likewise those responding had a right to agree, disagree add or delete from the discussion but to attempt to cut someone off with that political correct nonsense of "if you don't like it don't order it.............is in my mind a losing strategy because the person offering that advice has nothing of worth to say

I don't agree. If someone finds something not to their liking, in this instance the topic is the local newspaper, they don't have to buy it, read it, let alone subscribe to it. Are they complaining just to complain? There are always going to be people who like and people who don't like something.....neither will change the others' minds. Simple solution....don't buy it, don't read it....and if you don't read it, what is there to complain about? If the complaints continue....well, maybe they have read it....

Absolutely correct! If I have found that I have tried a certain restaurant a couple of times and do not like it - I will not return. Same way with a certain author - I will not buy his books anymore after I do not like a couple of them.

If I have read a newspaper a few times and not liked the content or their political leaning - I will choose not to buy that paper anymore and read one I enjoy. Me, I enjoy The Daily Sun because I enjoy the content.
