I am considering changing to Sprint as our cell phone provider. I am very interested in finding out what kind of reception others have experienced with this provider. I live south of 466A.
Thanks! |

If you can have 5 people on your plan cricket is ridiculously cheap. $100 a month total. |

I have Sprint. I live south of 466A and have been back in TV just a week. I can't tell you how many dropped calls I have had -- many! On a couple of occasions i lost them so many times I called them back on Mom's TracPhone! Those calls have been from inside the house.

What is Cricket? Would it work on my iPhone 5s?

I live in Pine Ridge south of 466A. Sprint seems to work fine for me. It would cost me about $20 more per month for AT&T or Verizon for a single line service.

If your phone has a sim slot and is unlocked it should work. Cricket is a subsidiary of AT&T and they use the exact same towers and equipment. They have an office in the villages. I would go there and check.
Also sprint may need to unlock your phone, which I believe is there obligation. If necessary have them unlock it before you switch. You can also put in someone else's sim card to see if it's unlocked. With "some" phones - even unlocked wont work with other providers depending on the type of signal used.

We have had Sprint for our cell phones since 2004. Never have any problems. The last time I had a dropped call was about 5 or 6 years ago.
Or maybe someone just decided to hang up on me. LOL ![]()

We have no option only service that works for us is sprint, up north and am not carrying to services. In Pennacamp we had dropped calls, Fernandinia is 80% ok, mid villages no problem. For us sprint saves us $40 dollars monthly

Never again. Sprint could be giving a Free Phone and 99% off the bill and I would take a pass. A totally Fugazy Operation.

Sprint did walk me through a "boost' for my Michigan service and it helped a lot. I need to see if I need to do the "boost" here.

We had Sprint when we first came down here. When out and about in the car in TV, I could almost never get on the internet. I didn't realize how bad it was until we switched to AT&T (because we needed to have an unlocked phone). I can connect everywhere with AT&T. I had never had a smart phone that wasn't Sprint, so I had just assumed this inability to get on the internet while traveling in a car was normal. Not so.
