Does a dog owner have to pick up a doggie's business on the front lawn a new home if no one is living in it? Apparently some don't think so because when I closed on my home I had to pick it up!

You seldom can tell if people are snowbirds or not. Or, if the house is vacant unless they forget to keep the lawn kept up to par. It should not matter. Pick it up wherever your dog goes.

I have been told by vets that when a dog has diarrhea to keep the dog away from other animals, especially a doggy park.

Parvo is caused by the canine parvovirus type 2. The virus is very contagious and attacks the gastrointestinal system, causing fever, vomiting and severe, often bloody, diarrhea. It is spread by direct contact between dogs as well as by contaminated stool, surfaces, bowls, collars, leashes, equipment, and the hands and clothing of people. It can also survive in the soil for years, making the virus hard to kill. Treating parvo can be very expensive and many dogs die from parvo despite intensive treatment.

Of course! You must ALWAYS pick up after your dog!
It is a privilege that dogs are allowed to be walked on a leash on the roadways and MM paths in The Villages.
Don't ruin it for everyone else!

I would guess not, but it is good to keep your dog away from horse poo.

I contacted the authorities and received the answer. No, you do not have to pick up dog poop. You do however have to shape it into little sculptures depicting your home state, mark it with those little flags you can buy at Lowes, and put a blue cheese stuffed olive on top of your artwork. I know it sounds weird but rules is rules.

Then it would start moving by itself due to the dung beetles around here. They at least are moving quicker than snails at times.

I saw this first years ago at Doggie Doo Run Run and was taken aback as that **** was moving!!!
