We are not dog haters and have recently lost our dog.
Why can't folks have the dog poop on their own lawn and then go for walk.
We had a poop place in our backyard for our dog to poop.
I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on this.
Totally agree!

Time to relax and maybe be concerned about something that may be a bit more important.

The priorities sound about right to me.

Meh - most of us here wont be alive in 30 years. We do see dogs crapping in our yards today.

Since I seldom eat directly off of my lawn, I am not too worried about some dog pee or poop along the edge of the lawn. 90% of the dogs in TV are tiny, and 99% of the dog owners I see at least try to clean up the poop.
A brown spot in the grass? Oh my.

Glad they pickup their dog poop. Problem is you can't get it all. Watch where you walk barefoot in your yard.

According to these subject posts, you are probably right....I must be. Perhaps some folks that do not understand how to care for their pets ought to be trained before obtaining a furry friend. In my opinion, if you can house break a dog, then you can dictate where he may unburden itself. My intention was not to insult anyone, just to make them aware that there is more to "sharing" a community than forcing others to accept one's intrusive transgressing and property damages, even if only minute in nature. Perhaps if a pet own is not confident in controlling their animal then they should consider allowing it to live in a better home, where the owner is better equipped to care for the little friend. Is it too difficult to learn to properly handle a pet, or is it just that the owner is too lazy to take a few minutes to learn? It's really not that difficult, unless you have a difficult pet. Kind of like raising children. Either you care for them properly or they remain undisciplined. I don't even consider it "tough love" to train the pet properly. Sorry, just my experienced opinion on the subject.

Yes, of course. I noticed that I have less brown spots on my lawn then I did before implementing a new tactic. When someone leaves a bit of missed excrement on my lawn, I simply leave it by their door so that they can dispose of it at their convenience. I love animals, but since I spend a substantial amount of money on my lawn to keep it looking nice, I prefer that owners of pets take their little critters elsewhere to do their business. I know they understand because they do not allow them to do their business in their own yards.

For all you put haters out there you should probably start your own club. since you like to tell the pet owners how to take care of their pets.

Default To poop or not

As a dog owner it is difficult in the villages to walk dogs anywhere but lawns. I keep my pups to the edges. There is a part of the lawn which belongs to the villages from the curb to your home. An easement which varies in feet depending on house size.

You evidently are a better dog trainer than we are. Unfortunately our dog and most others poop when needed and are driven by sent to poop where they do. A well trained animal will poop where trained but our little pooch has trained us instead. Our apologies but we DO pick up and dispose of properly.

Why is someone a "Pet Hater" just because they dislike other peoples dogs peeing and pooping on their premises.
In that context you could say all the people without a little white cross in their gardens are God haters
