I only have t-shirts and shorts in Florida so no matter where I go, that is what I wear. It is very nice of them to take you out, enjoy.

I agree, I've even seen women on our golf courses playing with "wife beater t-shirt" on.
- Seems they stricter with men's attire -

They've changed that rule. Kids were not even allowed to wear t-shirts.
Now you see lots of people wearing t-shirts on the driving ranges, especially at Sarasota.

More dressy casual for Lopez. You will feel out of place in shorts and golf shirt.

Sarasota is a "practice facility" not a "country club". The driving ranges are a little more "relaxed". Proper dress is required on the practice greens, at the Country Clubs, and we are supposed to "diplomatically" mention such

As long as you have a collared shirt, any kind of shorts and pants are acceptable as long as they’re not raggedy. The original owner of the villages, Harold Schwartz, went to play golf in jeans. The starter didn’t know who he was and told him he couldn’t play in jeans. That rule changed very quickly.

Pretty much anything goes. I have seen it all. For example: I have been at Palmer CC on Christmas Eve - smartly dressed for the occasion - and while seated at one of the scenic tables in the bar, men in t-shirts, gym shorts, and flip flops were wandering around the area. I thought this was disrespectful, but no body else seemed to care.
