Spring, summer, fall, winter.... out slider is open, if we are home.....AC or heat. It's our sacrifice for our cat to have her "outside" time on the lanai. Obviously contributes to the dust, but cuts down on the cat dander (which is worse than the dust).

The secret is to have light furniture and thick carpet! Never notice it!

We also have an inordinate amount of dust. It has been this way since we got here three years ago. We just had to ductwork cleaned in hopes that would help. It really did not. The dust seems so thick and some of the particles are so large, it makes me wonder if the attic insulation is finding its way into the house somehow.

More dust and dirt in the air here than any place we have ever lived.
We used to think when the construction moved further south it would be less.

It hasn't one bit. Dust in the house and black grime on the lanai and bird cage areas.

10 years and counting and hoping.
