I can only tell you that I am a Canadian and thereby limited to 182 days in the USA each year. The saddest day of my year is the day I leave TV for a six-month exile. Even though we have a lovely Lake cottage in Canada. I just miss my TV Pals so much.

The happiest day of my year is in October, when I arrive for my six-month stay in the Bubble.
Bare, we are sad also when you leave but we look forward to your arriving back in Oct. We miss you when your gone.

Yes, shelagh.rose, BC is the most beautiful place. My mom-in-law lived there for many years and we visited often.

First of all, why on earth would you believe an ad? Ads are clever mechanisms designed to persuade you to part with your hard-earned money!

TV is not for everyone - and not everyone in TV is happy. You will see far more positive posts than negative ones - mostly because those of us here "talking" about TV are the happy ones. Most of the others have presumably moved on.

Like my friend Barefoot says, there are lots of posts on this. There is a recent one by a poster named senior citizen asking a similar question and requesting a reply from someone who is not a cheerleader. I would do a search on the poster and the key word to find out more.

We were there at least four times but only one lifestyle. We were just about to say let's do it and then this thread came up.

I know you guys are right, can't believe anything now days. Just have to hope you find great friends and live life with the good buddies you make.

We did here that average income is $98,000, that is high for us but I would think we could still do most all we want with less income than that.

Thanks for all responses!

I have been trying to find something I don't like for a year now !!!!! I really miss my family. That is the only negative for me. If I could find more, maybe my husband would agree to move back home (Syracuse, New York). Not a chance !!!

I put this information in another thread, but it might answer some questions for you. Sperlings Best Places To Live lists the Median Household Income in TV as $46,985. This means that 1/2 the HH's are above this level and 1/2 are below. Actual residents might be able to weigh in on this, but it does sound reasonable to me.

Why not just H? Household is one word.

Tony,

You have been hanging out with the English Majors way too much!

English majors? I don't hang out with any of them. I was a journalist. Those bear no resemblance to English major. Just ask an English major.
