None of these things are new. There are expressions for all of them. Crude goes up like a rocket but down like a feather. We buy gasoline by the tankful. Someone buys it by the tanker full. How many times does the price change by the time it is delivered. Imagine explaining why you paid a few million too much.

I took over 2 years for the first H&N to open. It costs them nothing to wait.

Probably because H&N closed their original location before this one opened. Sure hope for locals there that it is run well by whoever takes it over.

SigPro Theater in Lake Sumter is the new home for the group that left Tierra Del Sol.
It is a beautiful facility that is next to Chop House Restaurant.

Although there has been no “official” confirmation, IF The Natives (or whoever) takes over Fenney G., they are loosing A LOT of potential income by delaying the opening. (specially given the fact that we are now into the return of our great seasonal residents)

It looks like you missed an update:

From WESH back in October 2024:
HOBE SOUND, Fla. —
After announcing its closure last week, a 72-year-old iconic restaurant in South Florida changed course and says it will remain open.

Harry and the Natives, a restaurant that has lived in Hobe Sound since 1941, was set to close in October, but owner Harry MacArthur said that just couldn't happen after he saw an outpouring of support from the community.
According to their website they are no taking orders for this Thanksgiving.

There is a good deal of remodeling to be done, no idea how long that will take.
