In comparing the identical model houses on these two streets whose lanais face each other, the price of the new houses on Dyson Loop facing power lines are significantly less than the new ones on Feulner Place facing the same power lines. I suspect that Dyson Loop might be a little bit closer to the power lines than Feulner place.
So, if you don’t mind hugging power lines, save a buck to live on Dyson Loop. As an example, a Ruby on Dyson Loop is listed for $186,710 while an identical looking Rudy on Feulner Place is $213,140. Brings up the ongoing debate of the health risks of living too close to electromagnetic fields. I don’t know the answer, but it is a consideration.

As these houses are identical except for maybe the location to the power lines, would one be a better deal than the other? Are there other factors that might make a difference in the price of houses on these two streets that are identical models? I am always looking for a good deal for a rental. So, would one of the houses on Dyson Loop be a better value as a rental?
As I have time to discuss things with everyone, I am asking for thoughts from others. Certainly not trying to incite a riot, I am just wondering out loud. And, found these two streets which are so close to one another and facing each other across power lines to be interesting. It’s something unique that I haven’t notice in my entertainment of looking at houses in The Villages beginning in 2014. I try to enjoy life, looking at houses and friendly forum talk. My beautiful maple tree under conductors at an old address, absolutely covered in cankers. Please tell the tree that the electromagnetic fields are harmless.

Do the houses near the power lines glow in the dark?

If you read the home details for the one on Feulner Place at $213,140, it says with golf cart garage. May need to go look because picture may not be accurate.

Are all other aspects of the two homes identical? Exact same appliances, exact same floor covering, same counter tops, same cabinets, etc. Many times it’s the “little things” that add up.

I don’t know the area. Are both properties new from the developer or are they resales?
I suspect there is a reason for the different values. If it is too good to be true, it might be just that. |

To be honest.. out of all the land TV owns.. why choose to put those beautiful homes with those utility poles to look at for the rest of your/my life.. I am scouring to find our dream retirement home in TV and completely nixed that entire strip of neighborhood.. you can even see the lines right from your first curbside appeal.. very confused when I saw those..

I may travel to this location to take a better look. And yes, all of the houses are new in popular new Villages south of 44. |

No way would I buy a house so near power lines, also hurts resale. Still trying to figure out who would buy a $500,000 + house on an alligator pond. Water view???

Why does there have to be a point? It’s just interesting and doesn’t have anything to do with Covid!

One house faces north, the other faces south. It makes a difference to some and could affect the values.

Both are great deals, live by a power line!
