Default Stop signs

We were sitting outside at Sonny"s this evening and saw 6 cars pulled over by the police for rolling through the stop signs. Two unmarked cars working the intersection. FYI

With so many Villagers complaining about bad, inattentative, etc., drivers, I think increased traffic enforcement by the sheriff's department is a great thing. Way to go, SCSO. Now if only Marion and Lake Counties would follow their lead, roads would get a lot safer in TV.

Here's a rerun of a video I made a few years ago. It was taped in one 20 minute span.

Great job....It's scary out there.

Whatever police do to help lessen poor driving (cars AND carts) is fine by me!!!

This could be a new form of "entertainment" for some.

A little bit like what some people do for a chuckle, at least in OH! - Go to a boat launching ramp at a local lake and watch the festivities as people attempt to launch/load their boats. Hilarious to observe, for the most part!

I've had a few close calls at the intersection next to Sonny's and am glad they are choosing to pull people over and let them know they should abide by the law at that 4-way stop.

I believe they are doing their job after receiving many complaints from Village resident. It's the old saying your da-ned if you do and da-ned if you don't.

Isn't that part of their job responsibility?

Am I getting the impression that some people believe that after they move into the "bubble" they no are longer required to obey traffic laws?

I am happy to see the law being enforced. I hope the cops keep up the good work. As long as it's the other guy. If I get a dang ticked I am really going to be P.O. and probably a couple hundred bucks poorer. Then I'll write a different response.
