Has this thread now made the transition from dog poop to people poop? God, I hope not

yes, it has never happened before and, hopefully, will never happen again, but still a shock to the system first thing
I've only been here in the Villages 2 months and have twice been addressed by male bullies (is that redundant?) Who do these control freaks think they are? First, I pulled in to a park with 22 spaces. 1 car parked at the far end. I curved coming on so was slightly over the painted line. With no one there, I didn't back up & repark. Walked for 20 minutes and returned to a pre-printed card on my car "Learn to Park" etc. Really? No other cars around now. I didn't read the rest of the card. Second event, a very big man approached me in the dog park where I was with my service dog. He was wrong, but nevertheless it was how aggressive he was and went on endlessly even tho I left after telling him he was a bully. Hs kept yelling, babbling.I have never experienced such nonsense and didn't expect it in The Villages. The friendliest city? Not really.

That stinks and I can assure you that's not the norm based on my experience here.

You say 2 males, did you see the person that put the card on your car?

Yesterday I was driving in the Spanish Springs town square on the way home. At the corner in front of Dunkin Donuts where you can only go either left or right - I was in the left lane to turn with a lady ahead of me. We didn't have a stop sign, and there was no white line to indicate any need to stop, and there's no crosswalk at that spot. No one was walking across the street. A guy was at the curb, waiting for us to pass. She slammed on her brakes in the middle of her turn to the other road - which made me slam on mine - to allow the guy to cross the street. I yelled over that she shouldn't have done that. She yelled back that the law says you have to let people cross.

The answer - in case she's reading this: You have to let pedestrians CONTINUE to cross, once they've already left the curb. You don't have to stop and wait for them to do that, especially if they're not at an actual crosswalk. You held up traffic for a pedestrian who was doing what he knew he was supposed to do. You were wrong. I'm just glad I was paying attention and was able to swerve to the side without hitting you when you came to your abrupt halt.

Somebody let the dog poop right up at my front door, no bag, just left it. I wasn’t happy but wasn’t end of world. I picked it up and when on with my day. Life too short (for me anyway, I’m not on blood pressure medication yet) get all worked up over something have no control over.

I find I almost always get back the energy I'm giving off.

Probably same one’s that stop at yield signs entering roundabout when no one coming and blow through 4 way stop when the have traffic on their right that beat them to intersection. For those that don’t know you’re not in line till you stop at 4 way stops

These poop apologists never cease to amaze me!

I wish it was as easy as Jim Carrey’s reaction in his role as a RI State Trooper in Me Myself and Irene. Fed up with his neighbors (played by comedian Steve Sweeney) dog repeatedly crapping on his lawn and his wife stealing his newspaper.....he finally snaps. In uniform, he walks over to his neighbors property , picks up his newspaper, drops ‘trou’ and leaves a ‘steamer’ on his lawn. Poetic justice!

Generalize much? I know maybe 2 out of the hundreds of men I know who I would call bullies. In general, we need more masculinity, not less. Of course bullying in unacceptable. But redundant? Control freaks?

IMO, if you didn't park straight, you should have recentered regardless of how many empty spaces ,were available. How do you know it was a man that left the card and not a "Karen"?

He was wrong about what?

Again, male bullies are the exception rather than the rule. Female "Karens" are also the exception rather than the rule. Most everybody in TV is really nice.
