China cabinets are hard to get rid of, even for free. Several years ago, in one of our northern moves, I gave mine to a mover. (Actually, you would not believe the stuff I have given to movers over the years.)

If the glass top of those cabinets comes off, leaving a finished top on the bottom, you might be able to give the bottom half away because that part could be useful. But china cabinets are now white elephants and have been for a while.

As far as the roll top desk goes, even if it were an antique rather than a newer one, that will be a tough one to give away, too.

I must ask if you have a Sawzall, aka a reciprocating saw. I am not being flippant. I have found that a Sawzall and a box of contractor bags can solve a lot of problems.

Good luck.

I have not figured out how to send a private message, but I'll take the desk if you still have it.

I was in military for 20 plus years, I also gave many items to movers without my consent.

Can’t but you just ended I saying they are gone. You can delete photo’s and edit wording with three /// at least three slashes. ///.
