Default Gas Prices

Wonder why Shell station at Colony shows no lowering of prices. If you compare in the region, the shell is 30-40 cents higher per gallon. Good reason to shop elsewhere.

Thumbs down

These guys at Colony are just a bunch of crooks! They have been anywhere from 10-15 cents per gallon higher than other stations for months. They also tried the scheme of charging different prices for cash or credit purchases! I would suggest no one do business with them....!! They figure they have a captured audience on this side of The Villages!!

Can you get to Murphy's Express on 466 by cart?

We've beat this horse before. I buy all my gas at Colony and usually go inside and buy some stuff from the store and restaurant. They have a good manager in there now and all of us on the south end should want to see him succeed. I don't think I've paid 40 cents more a gallon, but that's only $1.50 more to fill the golf cart. Give the guy a break, he needs to make a profit.

Default Prices today

Just checking today, high test, Colony is 30 cents higher. I don't care with regard to the golf cart as it uses so little. But when you are putting 18or 20 gallons in your car, it's a big difference. It's not about profits, everyone has a right to a fair profit. Fair is the operative word here.

I buy most of my gas at Sam's Club or the new gas station on 466 across from WalMart. I bring my 5 gallon tank with me for my golf cart.

No, I'm not kidding. I really don't want to haul gas around in my car and it would take me 30 - 45 minutes longer to gas up on 466 for each cart. I use the car very little and it only has a 12 gallon tank. I could understand if you are using 20 gallons of premium.

Default Hess Gas Card

Does anyone know where a Hess Gas Station is near here. I bought a Hess Gas Card at Publix and I can't find one around here.

The closest one I know is in Leesburg on 441.

Default Colony

I also buy all my golf cart gas at Colony. Very rarely am I near the stations up the North end with the GC and it's only 5 minutes from my house. The guys on 466 & 27/441 have compitition that's why their prices are down. As for the car I'm off property and out of GC range when that needs gas. Was up North recently stationd we're all about $3.85 or so except for 2 just before the SS Parkway $ 4.51 because they were the last in that area. No compitition.

Best bet for the most current info on gas prices would be to Google "gas prices". There are a number of sites that can provide the info you're looking for.

Gas prices have continued their slow but steady decline here in central OH. Not sure how prices are elsewhere.
